As you read these statistics, remember my son was trafficked at age 5 for the purpose of child pornography and sexual exploitation.  Learn more here.  We are a middle class family and do not fit into any of these statistics and categories, yet it happened to my son, and affected our family. There is a blank statistic concerning these young children trafficked for the purpose of child pornography and backpage.com for sexual solicitation. Research shows that children do not disclose, and with the added coercion of fear, force, shame, and manipulation with multiple abusers, our children are even less likely to disclose. We finally recognized the PTSD signs of our son, and this opened the door to his disclosure of so many secrets.
