To empower the community and professionals with tools to protect, prevent, and identify the silence of child sexual abuse.

 

Presenting Child Sexual Abuse awareness/prevention using Darkness2Light "Stewards of Children" curriculum, Human trafficking awareness & identifiers training, workshops, and community events within the community and Professional arena.

 

• The f2F Community in Action aka CIA Team Initiative – To facilitate fun interaction with law enforcement at various sites, in order to learn the different ways that law enforcement keeps us safe. Also, to facilitate fun interaction with local heroes and sport’s heroes to create a positive perception of authority and role models. Safety, Role playing, and self-defense programs fall into our F2F CIA Team initiative.

• “The Language of a Child” initiative – This will include a presentation/ training and a book consisting of a combination of child narratives and language through disclosure by forensic interviewers, therapists, and DCF investigators. The book will also consist of evidence based curriculums, protocols, policies that are effective in communicating with children.

• Rahab’s House – A restorative initiative for aftercare of the child victim providing short term therapy, long term therapy, support groups, and eventually housing.

• Legislative concerns: There are many that require strategic research, follow up and presentation. We are working with other organizations in creating stricter sentencing, funding for investigations, funding for aftercare programs and mandatory sex trafficking identifier and victim communication training at a professional level.

• Currently working with organizations such as Darkness2Light, The Rachel Project, International Association of Human Trafficking Investigators, and Tampa Bay’s Community Campaign against Human Trafficking.

 

We have a lot of work to do, but we are dedicated to continue our pursuit in abolishing Sexual abuse, exploitation, trafficking and Sexual addiction for as long as it takes, generation to generation.
